Well, it’s that time of year again… there seems to be no shortage of events for the tenacious competitor to get stuck into. Last weekend we were represented in the Barossa Valley 1/2 Marathon by one of our very own. Rob set himself a goal of completing the course in under 2 hours, and we are pleased to announce that he did exactly that…1 hour and 58 minutes. Well done Rob!! Nothing quite beats the feeling of reaching the goals we set ourselves.
This coming Sunday is the Crossfit Comp, “Rally in the Valley” hosted by Reps Crossfit at St Andrew’s Catholic College. We are proud to have 2 teams competing in this event. We have a girls team: Kellie, Hollie & Emma and a boys team: Luke Roger & Deano. Good luck and most of all, have fun! It would be awesome to get a crew down there to cheer these guys on!
June is also shaping up to be quite the month for events with the Cairns Ironman on June 14. We will be represented by Deano in the 1/2 Ironman…what a guy, only 2 weeks after this weekend’s Crossfit comp! Then Crossfit Dungeon will host this year’s Torture in The Tropics event on 20 & 21st June.
Some of us train because we should, some of us train because we love it and others train to be ready for crazy big events like marathons, triathlons, crossfit comps and any other imaginable contest available. Stay tuned for updates & keep your eyes out for the crew of Tenacity Worx in an event near you!!
